this place came on hc, so I had to check it out for lunch. I sat on a small table in the interior and ordered the smashed avo on multigrain 16) with Persian tofu 2.) the court was a decent size and cheap for the brunswick street. the avocado was fresh and a bit tangie, but I would have liked something more lemon with it. my companion arrived a bit later and ordered the chickpea omelet 17) and needed my help with it.... This is the only gluten-free restaurant I know of that offers a dedicated menu with a wide variety of options. The owner is extremely passionate about catering to those with food allergies, and I am grateful that they also offer vegan dishes. They use Happy Happy Soy Boy products, which adds to the overall positive experience.
Great atmosphere with a full page vegan menu. I had the savoury pancakes which were absolutely delicious. Good coffee too. The decor is lovely and they've got a range of games stacked round a fireplace to keep you occupied on colder days
We visited The Wolfhound as part of a vegan outing and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and wide variety of options available. The restaurant had toys for children and a selection of card games for entertainment. We were pleased to find that the alcohol on tap was confirmed to be vegan, including ciders, beers, and a seltzer. Overall, a great experience.
Wasn’t much in the way of vegan food and the place wasn’t that busy but we still waited ages for food
I ordered the mushrooms and greens at this restaurant and was very disappointed. The dish lacked flavor and simply tasted like boiled broccoli and mushrooms on top of blended parsnip. It was also served cold. Considering the many other dining choices in Fitzroy, I would not recommend returning to this restaurant.
