yesterday evening a cocktail on the way home. Crappy service from the bar staff who told us to wait 10 minutes at the bar when we wanted cocktails instead of bringing them to our table. cocktails very expensive approx. $50 for 2. not the best cocktails at the price. left after a drink. make yourself a fallen and go to over board service is amazing and the cocktails are incredible and cheaper! Black pearl is one of the first proper bars I went to.
This might be showing my age but what is with places these days having the lights so dim that you can't read the menu!?!? The menu itself is pretty cool -
Spends but worth it. Not your run of the mill bartenders either. These guys know their libations and I would defy anyone to find a better cocktail in Melbourne
Wow, we were walking past and thought we would pop in for a drink as the atmosphere was oozing out the place, dark, gothic themed, high back leather chairs. It had a great vibe... then we found "The Attic" upstairs... you have to ring the bell and if there is room they will let you in...it is not over crowded the staff were wonderful and even happily changed our cocktail when the one's we ordered did not agree with our taste buds... Definatley heading back here on my next trip to Melbourne
I can honestly say that this is one of the best cocktail bar in Melbourne. Bar staff were awesome and worked with good attitude. Drinks were brilliant. A bit expensive but worth it.
