Sherpaz - Fitzroy

I've ordered from here twice and had a hit and miss experience both times most recently a couple of days ago. We ordered takeout, which took an hour rather than the expected 30 minutes so we got off to a bad start. Once the food finally arrived, the chicken korma was great, as was the pumpkin masala. It's a good thing we enjoyed the pumpkin because we received an extra portion and didn't get the lamb rogan josh we'd ordered. The saag paneer was tasty, but a massive let down the container was almost entirely sauce with only 6 small pieces of paneer! Hardly a main course... The garlic naan was ok. If the quality were more consistent, it would have the potential to be great for now, check your order carefully if getting takeout!

Nice take away from here tonight. Liked the Korma. Liked the goat curry. Very impressed with the Kashmiri naan. The calamari was very interesting. Loved the raita. Delivery was relatively speedy and friendly. We were given two complimentary samosas which was very nice. We really liked the food and look forward to ordering again soon.

My husband and I had dinner last week at Sherpaz and we were very pleased. This was the first time for both of us going to an Indian-Nepalese restaurant and I must admit we were very pleased. We had a three course meal and the food was delicious and came out so quick we didn't have to wait at all. We definitely recommend Sherpaz and we will be going back. :
