Martha Ray's - Fitzroy

On researching this cafe, the reviews were great and the food looked delicious. We therefore decided to go here for breakfast. However, on the two occassions we have turned up for breakfast they have not been open on time (7:30am) - no lights and no sign of life. Please change opening hours if you are not open by the specified time. Very disappointed.

A small but unique selection of sandiches at this sparcely yet well considered space. Always some great vinyl playing and I highly recommend the Rueben sandwich - on Tuesdays it is $10.00 so if your lucky...the Chicken sandwich is also great with crispy chicken skin - nom!

Martha Ray's is another little gem on the Fitzroy café scene. It's a cosy little place offering good coffee and food. Particular mention should go to the Reuben and chicken with crispy skin sandwiches. Both are divine. It gets my seal of approval.

A great vibe in this cafe: vinyls playing really cool music, interesting decor, and a lovely girl making the coffee. The coffee was nice, but it would have been better if it was just a little bit warmer.

Thanks for the good breakfast, coffee and food was just perfect. The price was also very fair. There are also sandwich's and other stuff.
