I went there for dinner tonight and I had the best meal! The service is brilliant. The staffs are lovely, very friendly, attentive and helpful without being patronising. We tried the pizza special: prosciutto and rocket with truffle and mushrooms base. I'm normally not really a pizza person. But this one is amazing. Fluffy and buttery. I can practically eat this all day. The pastas are also excellent. All home made a... View all feedback.
I went to this restaurant last night for dinner and I will definitely be going back. The authentic Italian food and great atmosphere were amazing. The homemade gnocchi with porcini mushrooms were delicious, and the Red mullet with Sicilian caponata was a must-try dish. The staff was lovely and attentive, a special thank you to Emilio for making it a wonderful experience.
Came here on a Sunday night, the establishment was small and quaint with a bar area where you can dine. My friend and I were greeted with the friendly wait and bar staff on arrival. We decided to try most of the specials which included an entree of prosciutto ham and imported mozzarella... it was probably the best and creamiest mozzarella I had had. The complimentary olives and bread were pretty on point too... so good start! I ordered the special wild boar and porccinni with parpadelle and my friend had the prawn risotto, we also added a side of brocollini (getting those greens in) and both dishes were delicious. I wasn't fussed about dessert but was convinced by my friend to share, so we shared an Italian version of the Mille fiulle, delicate puff pastry with lemon curd and raspberry coulis.. what a great end! So all in all I really enjoyed the food and service, especially from our waiter Mauro. The restaurant is family run and the staff are really friendly, what's different is the sophistication in its dishes and the love and passion in the delivery. Good job guys! I will definitely come again!
Ibla provided the ideal refuge from a wintery Melbourne night! The restaurant was warm cosy, the staff were friendly attentive and the food was top-notch! Dish of the night was the lamb ragu but honestly everything was perfect!! Ibla definitely be coming back for more!!
Last night was wet and cold so we needed some warm comfort food. We've walked past Ibla a number of times and always said we'd visit and I'd heard from a friend and colleague it was good so I called up in the afternoon and secured two spots at the bar. There's no online booking and I also noticed that they run their reservations old school style with a big hardback diary. Ibla certainly has the essence of a trattoria; traditional and familiar but the fit out is modern and fresh so it feels much more current.
We had such a lovely Sunday lunch here. A really delicious Capricciosca pizza and buffalo mozzarella and heirloom tomato salad. The service was great, I suspect it was one of the owners and the wine that he suggested for us went perfectly with our meal. We will so be going back for more
