She came over to the table. She did not greet ourselves. She instantly asked us what we wanted to eat did not take our drink orders extremely rude had a bad attitude written all over her face. We ordered our food and we all asked for coffee and water for my grandson. I asked for sugar-free syrup for my waffle because I am a type one insulin dependent diabetic. She comes back with regular syrup, which was needed for the table. I tried to remind her that I asked for sugar-free syrup and she yelled at me and told me I never asked for sugar-free syrup. My Granny politely told her and even called her sweetie which in the south that’s OK and says she did ask for sure for syrup she’s a diabetic so she has to have sugar-free syrup. She gave my granny the biggest go to hell look and said no she did not very rudely. I have eaten at this particular huddle house for 14+ years and I came to the huddle house again when I was back in town because I was hoping to run into my friend who still works there however she was off Emma should not work in customer service I was told when I asked her name for a view that her mother is the manager and I hope and pray that her mom will see this and address it properly because I have always enjoyed the Fitzgerald Georgia huddle house, but at this point, I will never be back again and I hope someday Emma has forgotten what human kindness is. I eat here almost weekly and only once was an item forgotten and only once was the toast slightly overdone. I regularly recommend dining at the Fitzgerald location with friends and family.
