I sometimes forget that we have this restaurant in Fitzgerald. We always order the fried liver and gizzards, which are always fresh and delicious. The service is quick, especially considering they cook your order fresh. The staff in the drive-thru are friendly and responsive. You get a generous amount of food for the price. I've loved coming here since they opened up, but the girl working there was so nasty and rude, I won't be back anymore. She was scratching her head, eating food at the register with 4 inch long fake finger nails, touching her face, licking her fingers, and never washed her hands. She had a *horrible* attitude. Will NOT be back unless they get rid of her, if then. View all feedback.
The first time I got a plate of fried livers from here, they were crispy and delicious. The next time I went I was highly disappointed. The livers were not crispy and we're still pink in the middle. The few pieces of fried shrimp I got weren't done either. They need to put timers on their fried foods. Needless to say, I won't have an appetite for fried livers for awhile. I'm upset because I didn't know where I could find them afters Carter's Fried Chicken closed. We live quite a few miles out and wasn't able to go back. I'm done.
Flounder, Shrimp, Hushpuppies, Fries, Coleslaw, and Banana Pudding...Sooooo Delicious!!! Put their seasoning and hot sauce on it, Done! I highly recommend Hooks. Portions are perfect and price is just right. Truckers, bobtail will fit in parking lot, trailer attached..I'd park across the street by Burger King and Sonic and walk over. The cake was not fresh and the fish was delicious. They recommended trying the jumbo shrimp.
