We were fortunate to be in this city during the Aber-Jazz weekend and stumbled upon this charming little pub while exploring. It is extremely dog-friendly and we spent most of the day in the beer garden listening to the jazz band, without any interruption. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. What User doesn't like about The Royal Oak:
This was the only restaurant we could find serving food in the village (the other pubs were closed), so even though the menu was limited to just burgers, we were able to find something vegan. The burger we chose was a spicy Thai burger, served with coleslaw, onion rings, and fries. I personally wasn't a fan of the burger patty itself, but overall it was satisfactory. The fries and onion rings were tasty. View all feedback.

This pub has a great location, but there aren't many vegan options. I tried the vegan burger, but unfortunately the patty was overcooked and I had to spit it out. The chips were fine, but the highlight of the meal was the puppet show of the cousin. It's a good spot for drinks, but I would recommend looking elsewhere for better vegan options.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The price per person was between £20-30. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 5 out of 5. I recommend trying the Fish and Chips and Lasagne.
