You could get a coffee there also. The cakes we bought were very good.

Stop at Anker Cafe in Salzburg Main Station. Beautiful small café with a wide selection of dishes including vegan. We both had a ciabatta with rocket, buffalo mozerella and tomatoes. It was absolutely delicious. We shared an apple strudel that was divine. Nice big cup of tea too. We're coming back!

It offers a good selection of filled rolls, special breads and a fairly small selection of sweet baked goods at moderate prices the branch of Billa (Austria's largest supermarket chain) has a similar, cheaper choice at the far end of the arrival area. But if you want to go quickly to a bus or taxi, anchor is more convenient, but be careful: our taxi driver told me I couldn't eat in the taxi! In addition to a ham roll, I had a dinkeleton godet essentially a sweet pastry filled with sweet cheese, which was very good. It also sells hot cold drinks.
