If it wasn't for Tripadvisor I would never have come to the place because the outdoor deco feels a bit old, but inside it is modern, very clean and with exactly the right amount of lighting. Food was excellent and every step of the way from service to presentation of the dishes that you can feel that the staff does everything to make you happy.
Okay. It's Firminy, so the decisions are limited. This is second rated on Tripadvisor (above rated was closed for dinner) so I gave it a jump as I did not eat all day, which usually means everything is delicious. The cook came out and spoke to me and recommended not to have seafood because this is too far from the sea to have good quality and not their speciality. Good enough. The foie grass was common and the calf was hard and tasteless. I almost never add salt, but this time I had to add salt to fix the dish. Okay, I'm not French, but I had some great, delicious and inexpensive French cuisine in my travels. This is by far the worst for what you pay.
Very nice discovery in Firminy, delicious and very fine dishes. Very welcoming staff. A place to discover without hesitation.
