The service is attentive. The prices are fair. It is cramped and loud due to a sellout dinner on the Friday night I visited. Would I return? Yes.

I recommend lighter curtains and furnishings for a place that is certainly one of the best seafood restaurants in Florence and beyond!

The best thing by far was the tagliolini with lobster, truly excellent. Unfortunately, the ambiance does somewhat dampen the desire to return, at least for those like me who go out for special occasions like a birthday. Appearance counts, especially in a seafood restaurant unlike a typical trattoria. The black terrazzo floor doesn't give the impression of a clean place at all, even if it is (which makes even those with slightly longer coats touching the floor uncomfortable, given the lack of a coat rack), accompanied by a slight bad odor in the air. I recommend at least covering the floor and freshening up the place, which seems a bit run-down.
