Our favorite meal so far in Italy. Absolutely charming ambiance and beautiful decorations. Felt like a warm hug. The owner is very kind and welcoming. Our server was amazing. She was charming, kind, knowledgeable and so sweet. She was patient with us and her english was great. She was also helping us with our Italian. I’m glad we had a reservation because this place was very busy. And we know why! As far as food: the shrimp and white bean app was delicious and the crostini di fegatini (pate with rustic bread and antipasti) was outstanding. Other highlights (everything was a highlight) the shrimp risotto, the veal cheek with mashed potatoes, occobucco (veal shank) with black rice was mouth-watering. We are not big dessert people but we decided to order some and we were so happy we did! Cheesecake was the best we have ever had, dark chocolate heart was delicious and the yogurt mousse with berry sauce…wowza. We had lemoncello shots after and we all decided it was a perfect Italian meal.
