Mysterious wine window experience. Not many left in Florence so if you find one, enjoy it! There is a map but best discovered unexpectedly!
This is an historic Italian masterpiece, run like any establishment that’s been around for over 100 years . It was raining when we arrived at 19.19 for our 19.30 booking. Doors closed, staff making final preparations for the herd of serious foodies waiting quietly in the rain. 19.29 the DOORS OPEN and everyone in am absolutely certain has the best food ever, served by fantastically polite uniformed but idiosyncratic waiters (ours had tattoos and crucifix earrings and was EXCEPTIONAL) and all of our delicious Tuscan food was sublime. My Mike Tyson fist size filet was as soft as Brie food heaven. One tip….the restaurant has three rooms DO NOT sit in the room to the far left of the entrance. When we went it was lifeless and smelt ! But if you ignore that IL Latini is unforgettable
Phenomenal gluten free options: focaccia, biscotti and various options all available as GF if needed. Food was fresh and authentic. It’s a busy place because it’s Michelin rated, but if you’re going for the food, you won’t be disappointed. The bad reviews are odd menu clearly states that the Florentine steak will only be served rare
The worst restorant in town. Please avoid it!! The food looks terrible . The staff looks like from bad movies. I really feel sorry for all the people who came here to have dinner now
We had such a great meal that we returned the next day. The Florentine steak (1.3kg) which we both shared was absolutely delicious. The service was great with the waiters friendly and prompt. We asked for a bigger table as the tables for 2 are cramped and they were able to oblige on our first day but not the second day when they were busy. My only negative comments would be that the place is busy and the business seems profitable and they ought to refurbish it as the restaurant looks tired. Also, the table next to us with locals was very close to us had a large dog which was uncomfortable while we were eating, particularly when it started barking when we were eating our steak!

Amazing! Really nice restaurant with a lot of options to choose from. There is not a separate gluten-free menu but they came to explain everything to me at the table. The owners wife has celiac disease so they know what they are doing! The Focaccia bread was absolutely great, never had such good gluten-free bread before! I really recommend booking a table in advance, because there can be a serious line outside.
I was not able to find a dedicated menu and it was a little confusing, but I just got gf pasta marinara and it was good. it was a little nerve crack without a separate menu. my server was good, but we just have to have come to a strange time - 2:30 right before they closed so that he wasn't the most helpful. I am not sure if I would recommend this to go as the best option for a zöliakie, although I felt good after eating. other restaurants in florenz have more possibilities are more accommodation.
Amazing to eat here!
I wasn’t able to find a dedicated menu and it was a little confusing, but I did get plain gf pasta marinara and it was good. It was a little nerve wracking without a dedicated menu. My server was good but we must have just arrived at a strange time- 2:30 right before they closed so he wasn’t the most helpful. I’m not sure I’d recommend this as the best option for a celiac person to go, although I felt fine after eating. Other restaurants in Florence have more options are more accommodating.
Great staff, super, how to eat a large family kitchen options are very good! Relax a reservation simply means that they get a place at a table, standing in a cue that forms 30 45 minutes before sitting. the e cue outside is self-imagining and confusing. (relax) each flatters while seeing this small restaurant through the main glass door. because the queue increasingly bigger people begin to think that others simply come for a 1. serve sitting opportunities. the latter arriving (also with reservations) push past the early arrivals (also with reservations) as the late arrivals think that everyone else does not have a reservation, but they, while those who arrived early think that all late arrivals have no reservations, as the restaurant seems to hold 1 4 the amount that has formed looks. the mafia then pushes forward as if they score on the 4th and aim, while the lonely worker quietly attempts the reservation name and the main number of each reservation to collect and enter their crew from the scrum in front of the small door. once in the inner you will see the additional rooms, spacious seating possibilities and start to relax and realize that the entire mob behind them will sit in the did. they then hope that the person(s) who is pushed before them is rude not sitting next to them. the table staff is busy, food flows, open the bottle wein on their table and settle them into a conversation with the strangers [now friends,] who survive in the "crazy italian sitting process" they just survived. dinner with a show, but they and the crowd are the show at the beginning the dinner is worth in the did, wait up

Perfect special occasion restaurant! The manager of the restaurant has celiacs herself and came up to our table to take me through all of the things I could eat here. They even provided gluten free bread table bread for me. Love this spot.
Great staff, awesome, like a large family kitchen food options are very good!! RELAX A reservation simply means you'll get a seat at a table, after standing in a cue that forms 30 45 min prior to seating. The cue outside is self forming, and confusing. (RELAX) Everyone cues up while seeing this little tiny restaurant through the main glass door. As the cue gets larger folks begin to think others are simply cuing for a 1st come 1st serve seating. The latter arrivals (also with reservations) push past the early arrivals (also with reservations) as the late arrivals think everyone else does not have a reservation but them, while those who arrived early think all late arrivals do not have reservations as the restaurant appears to hold 1 4 the crowd that has formed. About the time the crowd tension begins to peak the door opens with one of the staff stepping out to face "the mob". The mob then surges forward as if to score on 4th and goal while the lone staff member calmly gets the reservation name and head count each reservation attempts to collect their crew from the scrum in front of the small door and enter. Once inside you see the extra rooms, spacious seating options and begin to relax and realize that the entire mob behind you will in fact get seated. You then hope the person(s) that pushed in front of you rudely is not seated next to you. The table staff engages, food flows, you open the bottle of wine on your table and settle in to a conversation with the strangers [now friends] that bonded in the "Crazy Italian Seating process" you just survived. Dinner with a show but you and the crowd are the show at the beginning the dinner is in fact worth the wait effort
Definitely get a reservation. They have two seatings, one at 7.30 through to 9.30, and then they start fitting in the next crowd as the first leaves. We had a reservation for five, and joined the crowd of people who also had reservations, all anxious to get in. Tell your server you are gluten free, and he'll let you know what you can eat.
Pperhaps the most confusing meal of your life, but just go with it. You'll be seated with people from all over the world and the food just starts coming. Just let the server know you're gluten-free and they'll take good care of you
