We visited Subway around noon on a Saturday, but there was no staff present. The hot dogs were left rolling on the warmer, and the bread was just sitting on the racks in the back. The gas station cashier mentioned that no one had shown up to work at Subway that day. While I understand it’s challenging to find employees these days, there wasn’t even a sign to inform customers. It was completely strange.
There was only one employee at the counter, and just as the lunch rush started at 11:10 AM, she left for her break without any warning. It was ridiculous! There wasn’t even a sign saying they were closed. Then, a woman from Chevron had to shout, "Subway closed!" as if we were supposed to know.
