This delightful little Mexican restaurant is truly a hidden treasure. The dishes are fresh, and the service is prompt. They serve authentic hot sauce that packs a spicy punch! Val and Jaime, the owners, ensure you receive your food in no time. Additionally, the restroom is clean! You won’t regret choosing to eat here, so be sure to stop by soon. Don’t delay!
Food is about average, prices are above average and employee service was way below average. Worker service alone was enough to not want to return. That's not all the employees. Just one this time.
On my first visit I enjoyed a very good combo plate with an enchilada chile relleno. The menu is large but they don't appear to have lengua or tripa. The counter staff is friendly and I have to say, the music was awesome in here. They were playing a lot of older Latin music like Benny More which makes me think of my Grandpa love love love!! Note that they give a small discount for paying in cash. I'll be back to try more food listen to music soon!
During my first visit, I had a delicious combo plate featuring an enchilada and a chile relleno. The menu offers a wide variety of options, although I didn’t see lengua or tripa available. The staff at the counter were friendly, and I have to mention the fantastic music—they played a lot of classic Latin tunes like Benny More, which reminds me of my grandpa. I absolutely loved it! Also, there’s a small discount for cash payments. I can’t wait to return to try more dishes and enjoy the music again!
I spent $42 with an $8 tip for tortilla soup, a carne asada plate, and a single chile relleno (which was really just one). The lady who took our order seemed overwhelmed. After we paid and sat down, we didn't receive any water, chips, or salsa. After 5 to 8 minutes, we had to ask if we could get chips and salsa, and I had to remind them again for water. When the chips finally arrived, we were told our order would be out shortly. I got my carne asada plate but there were no tortillas or knife, so I had to get up and check on the tortillas. Three minutes later, she said she had them in hand and would bring them over. The rest of our food came out staggered, despite there being only one other person in the restaurant. They never followed up to see if we needed anything. I had to ask for a to-go box, but they forgot the one for the soup and it took an extra 4 minutes. Instead of the single chile relleno I ordered, I ended up with a whole meal I didn’t want. The service was really lacking, and the food was mediocre at best.
