I was in that place with big expectation abput german corectitude. When i asked for the bill, the waiter told me that is not possible to pay by card, only cash. Nobody told me this before, and becouse i didn t had cash( only card) they called the police. Dont come here if you do not plan to waste 2 hours on waiting for a simple food.
Good place in the center of Mainz. Various food and drinks. Nice service. I had English breakfast and was really tasty. Looking forward for the next time.
A relaxed place in a busy corner of the town with casual atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. The staff is sometimes a bit distracted so you might end up with food/drinks you didn't actually order but they fix the mistake ASAP and with a smile.
It is part of the Extrablatt chain, so if you like the food and drinks, as I do, you will like this one. What sets this one apart from the one on Schillerplatz, only a few blocks away, is the fact that the service is actually good here!
One of two of this chain. Has a decent, if crowded, breakfast buffet, and there are vegan/vegetarian foods on the menu. But, seriously, there are so many nice bars and cafes in the area, why do this one?
