We ordered burgers and pizza, but there was an astonishing 40-minute wait between the arrival of the first burgers and the serving of the last pizza. The burgers were bland, and one person didn't get the bacon they ordered; by the time the server returned 20 minutes later, they had already chosen to eat the burger without it. The pizza was also disappointing, and both sizes are overpriced at $20 for a 10-inch and $25 for a 14-inch. Furthermore, the menus displayed in the Yelp photos are outdated; they’ve significantly cut back on their selections and increased their prices.
I had a great time at this classic small-town bar. It’s filled with plenty of local characters, a fantastic bartender, and the pizza is truly amazing. They have TVs, so it’s a perfect spot for sports fans to catch the game. There's also a pool table, darts, a spacious seating area, local draft beers, burgers, and pull tabs available. Overall, it captures the charming atmosphere of a small-town bar exceptionally well. Whether you're dining with the kids, enjoying a beer with friends, spending time with your grandma, or going solo to meet new people, this place has something for everyone. Cheers!

I just returned from a 15-day hike on the Superior Hiking Trail and I'm enjoying my first (and second) Surly Furious. The pizza here is fantastic—everything is homemade with a thin crust. The burgers are wonderful too, and the fries and onion rings are great. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, truly capturing the essence of the northern woods. Now I'm on my third Surly...
The food is excellent, and I truly enjoy it!
