Three months ago, I bought a custard pie from Baker Boyz, and after just three bites in the car, I noticed it tasted off. When my partner tried it, she discovered mold under the custard. We ended up with food poisoning for two days. We usually visit the centre every few days to buy fresh fruit, but every time we pass the bakery, there’s a strange smell. Today, the smell was so bad right when we entered the centre that I had to hold my breath and felt instantly sick. I also noticed the same food had been sitting in the bakery window for weeks. This place really needs to be shut down or change ownership. Their poor standards are giving the entire Westside Findon Shopping Centre a bad reputation. Food: 1 star.
