Anvil Whiskey - Findlay

I only gave this restaurant 1 star because they had a good selection of bourbon. When I walked in, there was no one there and the bartender was playing very loud rap music, pretty much ignoring me. This is supposed to be a whiskey bar, not a college dance club. It was not a cool experience. If they get a better bartender, maybe I'll consider giving it another try.

The food at the restaurant was excellent, but the service was lacking. When we arrived, we were told there was "no service" that night. This was unusual according to our local family members, but the restaurant was unusually busy (all tables were full after we sat down, with 3 large parties). Despite this, we were not greeted and the staff walked by our table multiple times to deliver food to other tables. The restaurant is quite small, so we expected at least a greeting and an explanation about the lack of service. After waiting for 10 minutes, we went to the bar where we were informed that we had to order all food and drinks from there. It's hard to understand how the staff, who presumably work for tips, expect to earn tips without actually providing any service. Nonetheless, the food was the highlight of the experience, with the pizza and fries being exceptional.

The food at this restaurant was delectable, especially the dessert. However, the service from the waitress was awful. She was rude and treated us with no respect. We tried calling several times the next day, but received no answer. We left a message and still have not heard back a day later - very disappointing experience.

husband had the lasagna. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The filet was tender and juicy, while the lasagna was bursting with flavor. We were both extremely satisfied with our meals. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and we will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to Adam and the rest of the staff for a wonderful dining experience.

The server was unresponsive. The whiskey selection was lacking for a whiskey bar. The live music felt more like a karaoke night.
