I made a reservation at this restaurant in good faith and drove 40 minutes, only to discover that it was closed! I believe they should have notified OpenTable about their closure instead of accepting bookings when they know the restaurant isn't open. I'm really disappointed! View all feedback.
We had a great company lunch here. They catered for 8 of us at very short notice. All food arrived together and was yummy. A great selection of meals and lovely accommodating staff.
The Queen Oak had never received the booking fom open table and only just fitted my group of 8 in after a slight wait. would not use opentable for a booking again, ring the venue direct.

The Queen's Oak Itself was great! It was Open Table that let us down! No reservation appeared to have been made, despite my confirmation number! Fortunately the Manager was able to find us a table on a very busy Sunday lunchtime, especially as we had an 88 year old lady with us!! I am very disappointed with Open Table, and will not be using them again!!
Great country pub, authentic atmosphere, nice log fire. Good pub food and drinks.
