un chalet authentique où nous avons l'habitude d'emmener nos amis qui viennent nous rendre visite en Haute-Savoie. Chalet authentique , accueil chaleureux, plats généreux de la région. Les escalopes au reblochon sont à conseiller.Ah si on pouvait y retrouver le lapin "maison" d'antan ??? View all feedback.
What Bernard Fournier doesn't like about Chalet de L'Anglette:
Bon accueil, menu sympa, personnel très sympa, attention il faut réserver. Seul bémol le chemin d'accès mais il vaut mieux laisser la voiture et y aller à pied, magnifiques vues dont on ne peut profiter si on monte en voiture View all feedback.
After a long hike on the stone stretch we reached this wonderful chalet. very welcome in the most beautiful environment. eating was not disappointing well served, delicious local dishes. no choice on Sunday, but their menu was perfect. no bank cards. one of our most beautiful meals in the savoie.
I am a regular visitor of the chalet and love it every time. If you want to get fresh air and good food, this is a must to visit. from here they are a few steps from walks on the parmelan and magnificent view. mont blanc from the summit. it is difficult to find such good food on the value for money is excellent. it opens end mai when the snow is melted.
The drive up to be honest is quite slow on steep windy and mostly narrow roads, but it is worth it! we had small cars, so they don't need a wheel drive, even though I suspect they could when it rains. will see the most spectacular in view atem take! as soon as they get to the top, they can almost hear that jolly! the restaurant is located in the middle of the French mountain and surrounded by cows, who are all walking while they go and look with their bells around their neck. such a beautiful, quiet environment. the restaurant itself is fabulously very French, with menu options from curses everyone. there is a large terrace that is worth for groups of all sizes and eating is very rustic, very good and excellent! the french french are of special note! like the cream-bub! After a cozy lunch, you should take a long walk over the moutain to get more spectacular views and eat all this and go wein! the drive down is much faster and again allows them to enjoy spectacular views. an important thing to note, the restaurant does not take credit cards! this is a single bar restaurant. So they are camping on their euro before they drive up the mountain, as there is nowhere up to withdraw money. we had to spin around for enough money and had to pay in euros and Swiss francs as we did not pre-warn. if they are in this part of the beautiful world, they should be sure to treat chalet de l’anglettee and make sure they take all afternoon to enjoy it!
In the auberge camelia, suzanne advised us to the alpage in anglette. it was fantastic journey and the ambiente of the chalets was wonderful.
