Even though we were the only customers at that time in the late afternoon they took a lot of care of us and were very attentive. The portions were very big. We couldn’t finish most of our three course meal which came at an amazing price of just 13 euros!

The reservation facility on Messenger works very well for booking your table. And booking is a must! From the outside it just looks like an ordinary shopfront with white blinds but when you enter. Wow! Light bright clean and bustling. We were immediately shown to our table by a very friendly waitress. There were already olives and a basket of bread rolls on the table. We chose to have the menu of the day at a little under 13€ a head. You get the choice of three starters, two mains and six desserts. There is a children’s menu and an à la carte menu with maybe eight or nine choices. We both chose a crispy chicken salad with peanuts and curry sauce to start. My friend then chose paella and I chose filet of pork in a green peppercorn sauce. For dessert I had the most exquisite pa d’ous made with mata and served with honey and walnuts. My friend took the cinnamon brownie. Honestly, the quality of the food was excellent. The paella was HUGE, the pork less so but there was still plenty! We had three bottles of water and a half litre of very pleasant red plus a coffee each. The service was friendly and efficient. I am staggered that a restaurant as pleasing as this can serve such excellent food at this price. Highly recommended and already planning the next visit!

We arrived a bit late (got lost on the bike from Roses) and only had a window of opportunity of 55 minutes to have lunch, before we were due at the Dali museum (and we hád to eat after the 2 hour bike ride). We just made that timeframe. The staff was friendly and supportive, the food wat great!

They had a fixed price menu for 15Euro/person that included a first+second dish, wine, dessert, bread and coffee. The food was awesome! It came up quickly and was fresh flavorful and the portions were very generous. The place was packed with locals but we were able to walk in and get a table. The staff loved having some travelers and they took very good care of us even with limited English and my limited Spanish. I'm so glad we skipped food in the touristy area around the Dali museum and decided to find a place on the easy walk back to the train station.
