L'antica Torre - Figline valdarno

Un'esperienza fantastica per gli amanti del buon cibo. a ogni bocca si può gustare l'esperienza e la passione del cuoco.

Posto divertente al centro alle figlie. la pizza è deliziosa. le tagliatelle con ragù toscano sono super!

Se cercate un posto con una buona pizza questo ristorante é perfetto! Ho preso una pizza d'asporto, gustosa e saporita.

Molto caratteristico questa piazzetta a Figline Val d'Arno vicino al comune, buone le pizze se piacciono extra fine ed il dolce, se c'è posto preferibilmente fuori sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo (medioevo). Se vi è piaciuta la recensione mettete un like

I feel a bit bad about giving an average rating here but 'very good ' would definitely be overdoing it. L 'Antica Torre looks rather upmarket, as do the prices on the menu but I found the service, the standard of cooking and, indeed, the clientele (including myself) told a different story. Not that any of that was bad. The service was friendly and fairly efficient but very casual (e.g. waiting staff standing around chatting). The food was not excellent but it was good. The ambiance was informal amongst my fellow diners, there was no sense of a special treat at a fancy restaurant I guess most of them had just stumbled upon the place, as I had. All of that actually suits me fine. It just wasn 't what I expected when looking in from outside. It would probably make more sense if the décor and style of the place matched its ambiance more closely but that 's not really important. My real reservation is about the price, for which I would normally expect a really superb meal, rather than just a good one. Notch up the cuisine or notch down the prices and I 'd add another star.
