From the moment the owner came to open the door for me (I stupidly couldn't work out how to open it! we were made to feel extremely welcome in this cosy little deli/restaurant. There is a small simple menu based around local products (as usual...very little available for vegetarians! and a few tables indoors and out. They really care about their customers and we had a very enjoyable lunchtime. View all feedback.
What Zainab Sarah doesn't like about Meme du Quercy:
Petit stop pour un déjeuner en famille. On sent la volonté de mise en avant des produits régionaux.La carte est simple.Menu enfant un peu cher pour un plat.Fois gras très bon.Portion très très copieuse sinon...Ceci dit, à la découverte d'un asticot dans l'assiette, réponse "ça peut arriver", sans autres formes d'excuses, ni même café offert... We absolutely loved pâté du dimanche (with pork meat, foie gras and mushrooms)! They have a good selection of local wines, including a nice rosé.
This is basically a shop selling quality local produce supplied by the smaller suppliers from the Lot and Quercy area. They also run a small restaurant on the same premises with a charming terrace serving (amongst other dishes) some of the very same delicacies you...can buy in the shop...!! How good is that..? Try it before you buy it..!! Although it is located in a prime tourist spot, with a lot of passing trade (just opposite Figeac 's Tourism Office), it serves much much better food than most of the other restaurants nearby which are banking on their location and remain just plain basic Tourists Traps : i.e. poor quality fast food at exorbitant prices... We have made many visits to Figeac over the last few years and this is definitelyour favourite stop for lunch and/or dinner.
This a small restaurant serving Quercy produce from local farmers. Excellent service from the owners. Hidden behind the office de tourisme and worth seeking out. The summer months would see their customers spilling out onto the pavements for now it has a cosy interior!
Un endroit idéal pour découvrir les produits du terroir. On peut y manger mais également acheter les différents produits. J'y ai mangé le meilleur "Pastis" (gâteau régional). Vraiment une merveille !Bien adapté aux enfants
