If you are a vegetarian, this is a must visit restaurant nothing too fancy, price is reasonable, owner is just lovely and very hospitable. Definitely visiting this restaurant again.

This is a sweet, very small, Italian deli, tucked away on a pedestrian-only street. Lunch is served lunch from it's offerings in the deli case. If you get there... read more This is a sweet, very small, Italian deli, tucked away on a pedestrian-only street. Lunch is served lunch from it's offerings in the deli case. If you get there early enough, you can eat in, or possibly eat at one of the small tables outside. Otherwise, it's a great place to pick up goodies for a picnic by the river! It serves very tasty lasagne and other pasta dishes, good salads, and has a nice but limited wine selection. L'epatant also sells all sorts of imported Italian products, from olive oil and basaltic vinegar to a variety of pastas and sauces. The owner will sometimes also be your waitress, and is very friendly and helpful (if you need some advice on any choices).

The food is home made and very good an absolute must is the café gourmand (included in the menu , a choice of little goodies for the sweet tooth! The interior is simple but has the charm of a genuine Italian place, we recommend it for a short meal rather than a long evening. A plus is also the Italian food for purchase on the spot (pasta, wines etc. .

The service is very pleasant and you can buy fresh deli products and Italian groceries on site.
