Very busy and eating was quite mediocre. the employees worked very hard but rather abrupt. fabulous setting though and used by the locals

A table for three. in the rest of time. the waiter couldn't take care less. no word has been exchanged between us. he has not offered us a menu for wine. he didn't ask if we wanted an apéro. the menus were « plonked » before us... instead of being offered. no smile, no exchange. we're up and down. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Late afternoon for a few drinks. good environment on the square. pint 5 euro. one of our party had a bottle of black mohito and when we asked for another who showed bottle, she got tonic water. when we showed this. we then got a delicate lemon. we gave up at this point and she had the lemon. had no food, but menu looked ok and reasonable price.

The best dinner of three we had in Figeac, and one of the best of our month in France. Le Seth is a bar-brasserie in the square in front of the Champollion Museum, but the kitchen is turning out great dinners. It’s all à la...carte. We loved our main dishes: Parillada de poissons (mixed grill of fish and the “burger” of lamb with a sheep’s milk cheese roasted into the bun. (They change their menu every week, so you may find different dishes that appeal to you. The restaurant boasts a long list of wines available by the glass, 25 cl, 50 cl, or the bottle. Many are from the region. We ordered two different wines in the 25 cl size. (When one proved to be not to our taste, the servers brought us another, at no extra charge.

Good food though not great. Well cooked, quick and pleasant service and at less than €40 for 2 people including 2 courses with a good house rosé and coffee we thought it was a great place for lunch. Situated directly on the Place Champollion in...the centre of Figeac the surrounding, mostly, medieval facades are an excellent location for lunch. Plenty to see if the weather is good even in mid-May before the tourist season really heats up Typical of the local 'menu du jour ' 3 choices for entreé and for main we had the smoked salmon on empenada first then split for main, one lamb cooked 'à la maison ' and one sea bream (dorade). Plenty for lunch though desserts existed for another €2 each. Having expected the empenadas to be corn based we found on asking they were wheat flour which did count against them and when arrived they were hard, overcooked and difficult to eat. The lamb was a little dry and the dorade also a little overcooked but that is being overly picky given the usual overriding requirements of providing large numbers of similar meals quickly, efficiently and for a fixed price. Overall, great value and good food for a moderate sum in a nice environment. Nicely presented though I would have preferred roast potatoes than the ubiquitous frites.
