The food was well presented with fre... read more One of the complaints of 'menu du jour ' restaurants is that often it is high volume food with tired ingredients. Not here! The food was well presented with fresh ingredients although one of the 2 mains lacked a little in flavour. The entrees and desserts...were great and as whole it was very well priced (15€ for 3 courses). Clearly a vegetarian based restaurant in the main with only one of the 2 main courses including meat they also advertised a desire to help those intolerant to certain ingredients and a gluten free eater would have easily eaten one of all three courses today. The strawberry/red pepper entree was particularly good, tasty and looked great. The restaurant appears to have opened recently and was fresh clean and efficient. One of the better lunches we have eaten recently. Our only complaint was that the ratatouille was a little lacking in flavour.

I can see it's gonna be a favorite. they offer vegetarian. also foods that are rare in France. we will definitely return to this simple but charming place.

I can't do that better. bazilik remains a popular lunch place in figeac when there is space. small, that is the earlybird,. reservations in July/Aug or they might miss. restaurant is just...off place champollion below rue baduel. nice to sit outside, but a warning about 13:30 the sun over the roofs on the terrace, so on a sunny day it can be quite hot, but a beautiful view down one of the narrow alleys of the city center. most options in the run of time, salads are excellent and very fresh with great dressings, meals very good with at least one vegetarian option for all courses.
