Because this restaurant is what it is; unpretentious, packed because the locals know where to go, an ambience truly French, truly regional. You can sit in or out with most opting for out. The menu is fancy enough, the beverages more than ample for any palate demanding something superlative. Service is quick but not in your face: this place can do fast food but chill, don 't rush, take it easy. Your experience will be so much more. Cost? here we border on the I cannot believe this is the bill territory. You are not going to have to mortgage Grandma. To be honest I have paid maybe 30% more in comparable restaurants here in the region. Of course in Figeac there are other restaurants that are equally worthy of accolade: but this on is worth checking out.
