Right on the beautiful Pinarello beach, A Ruscana provided lovely food with cheerful, prompt service. We enjoyed catch of the day sole meunière with frites a la Madison (24E) a good local rose (13E) and home made lemon meringue tart (8.50E). Not cheap but all...fresh and well cooked. Add in that magnificent view and it was a perfect holiday meal. View all feedback.
What Alice Guyot doesn't like about A Ruscana:
The trap to catch you is the wonderful position on the beach. For us it was the only positive thing. The food was absolutely terrible. We asked for "fritto misto". We get an inedible blend of burned seafood.Take a drink and enjoy the sea view but for eating just try another place. View all feedback.
The dishes are not worth their prices. - 27€ for a small cot-. 23€ for three pieces of meat on a beef skewer.- 26€ for a few spaghetti with clams. The meat is far from being excellent it was full of fat and nerve, the ratatouille served in accompaniment was cold. the frame is superb but the quality of the products served is to be reviewed! To avoid!
Since the time we've been living next to and the exceptional environment in which this restaurant is located, we've been very disappointed. Certainly, the place is beautiful but what is in our plates not at all! The children's dish at 9€ consisted of a small portion of butter pasta, drink and dessert are not included. the misto frito was too cooked and therefore immangeable. the dish of the day - some palourdes in unseasoned pasta - was at the modest sum of 26€... what a waste! With a good cook, this place would be great!
A very beautiful location, feet in the water. beautiful cocktails. Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes and the kitchen is not satisfactory (needed to bleeding and eventually too cooked and immangeable, tapas too fat, or not cooked, more vanilla ice while it is a very basic perfume). service with a smile but it was necessary to ask for several times a carafe of water and a coffee before being served. We will not return because the addition was salted and other restaurants in proximites offer a much better value for money. Too bad!
After a long trip we decided to dine in this restaurant in a quiet place. But what a disappointment! calamars too fat badly cooked, cooked cooking, insignificant salad .... a cook who doesn't care to do his work properly don't stop smoking
Small outdoor restaurant feet in the water away from the street tumult with tropical air. We were 14 without reservation on the evening of the fireworks, the reception was friendly with the installation of the tables and chairs in the sand. the tapas were for some little cooked but overall very good, the fish frying was very well done. The waitress who took care of our table was very kind and smiling. We had a good evening with a musician on the guitar. However, prices remain expensive for quality.
