Windsor - Fife

I just walked in to the restaurant, as they do not take reservations. I was seated promptly at a table and ordered the Steak Pie with chips. The meal was fantastic - the food was served hot with peas and carrots cooked to perfection. The steak pie was the best I ever had, with tender beef, flavorful gravy, and a delicious pastry on top. The service was excellent, the beer was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. I will definitely be returning.

After a leisurely stroll along the beach, we spontaneously decided to stop at this pub for lunch during our tour of the city center. We appreciate the atmosphere of traditional pubs, so we were impressed by the decor at the Windsor. The food was of excellent quality. The lady who served us engaged us in lively and stimulating conversation, despite the busy atmosphere in the establishment. The majority of guests were locals rather than tourists. The dining area and the bar are separated from each other, each providing plenty of space in its own unique way.

I have been to this restaurant twice recently with my friend for lunch, and then with my daughter for a meal, and I cannot credit the staff enough. They go above and beyond! I was impressed to see the kindness and care they provide to vulnerable individuals who come to eat, calling taxis, putting on people's jackets, ensuring they have the correct fare for the taxi, and escorting them safely into the taxi. Even when my daughter was served her delicious dinner, the lovely lady then got up and cut everything into small pieces for her. Gestures like these make for a truly enjoyable experience! The staff at the bar are also fantastic! They always have a smile on their faces and are willing to exchange jokes with the patrons. The prices are great too! Lovely downtown spot.

This restaurant never disappoints. The food is always excellent and the prices are incredibly reasonable. No matter what dish you choose, you can be sure it will be outstanding.

The restaurant has fantastic food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a great atmosphere. Everything is made fresh, so be prepared to wait a bit. They give you plenty of butter with your toast, and they also serve good tea.
