Tiffin Tea Rooms - Fife

I visited Alresford and was in search of a public restroom when I met a worker outside the tearoom. She kindly invited me to use their facilities. Wanting to acknowledge their friendliness, I ordered a pot of tea which came with a jug of additional hot water, a jug of milk, and a beautiful teacup and saucer. The tea, while only house tea, was leafy and not just tea dust in a tea bag. It had been years since I had tasted such real tea and it was wonderful. The price was very reasonable at £2.50 for the pot, and I noticed they also offer locally made cakes. For someone who appreciates style, elegance, and tranquility, this place was heaven and I will definitely be returning!

This cafe is a beautiful spot with a fresh homemade menu. The friendly and helpful staff suggested some lunch options for my 8-year-old, which ended up saving us money. I tried their watercress tea and ordered the best egg-water sandwich I've ever had! They also have tempting cakes for tomorrow, but we were too full to try them. I can't wait to visit again, especially now that they offer tiffin!

A really wonderful experience. we are here several times and today's visit was no different from the usual personalized, friendly service they offer next to the excellent tee, lunch and cake. they serve one of the best carrot cakes I tasted!

A surprise. will be back, a roasted teacake yomy. Ice menu looked great. personally helpful and smile.

This tea house offers a wide selection of teas from various regions. The standout was the special Assam English Breakfast tea. The scones with cream were also delightful.
