This is a fantastic spot for a casual drink or a leisurely lunch. The hidden garden out back adds to the charm. It's family-friendly with delicious menu options and a nice selection of drinks. The staff is very friendly, and I can't wait to return.

I am disappointed. I am updating my previous 5-star review based on my most recent experience. I visited the restaurant on 20/08/2022 to watch a boxing match. The first issue arose when we arrived at our reserved table and it was not available, with no table being assigned to us. Secondly, it took 15 minutes (while I was actually waiting at the bar to be served) for a man who arrived after me, got served, left, returned to the bar, and was served again before me! There were enough bar staff present, yet I seemed invisible to them for some reason. If it wasn't for another customer informing the staff, who knows how long I would have had to wait. Additionally, when I went to the men's restroom, I discovered there was no soap available unless I wanted to pay £4 for it, which should have been provided. Each time a decision needed to be made, the bar owners seemed to prioritize certain individuals in the restroom. I am disappointed in how the quality of service has declined compared to my previous positive experiences.

I highly recommend Wings Wednesday at The Rule. The wings are great and the prices are incredible. I was especially pleased with the service from James, who was delightful and extremely helpful in getting us the best deals. I come here every week!

A group of 8 of us stopped by for drinks on Saturday, February 10th. We sat at two separate tables of 4 right next to each other and were enjoying ourselves. However, just after purchasing 8 more drinks, one of the staff members put a reserved sign on one of our tables for 7pm, which was only 15 minutes away from when it was put. Despite us expressing our disappointment to two different staff members, they did not provide a satisfactory response. We ended up finishing our drinks and leaving. Two people then sat at the reserved table, resulting in the restaurant losing the business of 8 customers. It was unreasonable to give such short notice about the reservation.

The restaurant offers a spacious area to watch golf during the open tournament. The dining experience was excellent and affordable. The menu featured a wide variety of options and there were plenty of drink choices available. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and organized. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
