Avoid this restaurant!! It was chaotic and grubby, but the coffee was good. When we entered, there was a sign directing us to go to the bar to arrange a table, but it was actually the cafe where we needed to go. Two young girls were trying their best, but they were clearly overwhelmed and not properly trained. All the customers seemed confused whether it was table service or ordering at the counter. Lunch with family. I haven't been here for a few years, but it has enjoyed eating and very casual atmosphere. I had the dead of the week that was steak pie, just great!
Embedded for a quiet coffee and cake. the coffee made fresh and the cake was very delicious. ideal small stop.
Service, eating, atmosphere. they even spoil my dog. well made bundler, we will certainly come back.
I didnt actually spend the night here but went for lunch with my Outlander Tour Group. We had to go inside as its famous because of the show. In the show its Mrs Bairds B B. Looked exactly how I pictured. Sits in a lovely little town. Lunch was really nice. Sandwiches and chips. I highly recommend a visit here. Such a quaint old town with lovely shops and restaurants.
