Despite its old-fashioned pub style, complete with a pool table and decor, don't be deterred. The service was very friendly, the food was simple but well-prepared, and the toilets were impeccably clean, putting larger, more upscale establishments to shame.

I attached a ph... read more My family and I, along with our puppy, visited this dog-friendly restaurant for a quick dinner. Despite the name, there was no buffet available. I attached a photo of the menu since the website's menu section was not working. The restaurant has a traditional pub vibe with a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. Our paninis and sandwiches were delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

However, on this occasion, my son suggested we have a pint and I am so glad we did. The service provided by the owner was excellent and friendly. The beer was of good quality and reasonably priced. We chose to sit in the garden across the road on a sunny day and had a wonderful time. We also enjoyed some toasties and bacon rolls inside, which were well presented and affordable. The new owners are doing a fantastic job and I will definitely be returning.

We had toasties and baked potatoes and some beers; we were given several shots by the very jolly waitress for free......a lovely gesture! A lovely wee bar, would recommend when visiting Elie.
