Sorry but it was over £30 wasted.

The curries were both excellent fulling spice and flavour. Not cheap however good sized portions and very tasty. Look forward to our next takeaway

I had to make 17 calls to the restaurant, only to... read more Once again, another disappointing meal experience. I placed my order at 5:20 and it did not arrive until 7:45. I had to make 17 calls to the restaurant, only to be repeatedly told that my order was on its way. When the food finally arrived, it was all cold and had to be reheated in the microwave. I have definitely learned my lesson this time and will not be ordering from this restaurant again. If I could give a negative score, I would rate it -5.

I inquired about whether the dish came with chilli sauce since it was not specified on the menu. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found that there was no chilli sauce included with my pakora, and instead, raw onions were scattered over it in an attempt to make it more visually appealing. The pakora was dry, chewy, and lacked flavor without the chilli sauce. I cannot recommend this restaurant as they were unable to fulfill a simple order correctly. I would have been happy to purchase chilli sauce separately if it was not included. Being deceived and served chicken pakora covered in raw onions was unacceptable. The claim on the box that The New Serena is Dunfermline's Premier Indian Takeaway is highly questionable. I am concerned about how they would handle a customer with a food allergy if they cannot get a basic order right. I will not be returning and suggest exploring other Indian restaurants/takeaways in Dunfermline.
