This restaurant is a great place to get some traditional fish and chips. The food is always fresh and delicious. The chippy box is a fantastic deal - it can feed a family of four with a fish, burger, jumbo sausage, choice of pudding, and either mushy peas or curry sauce. What SM1836 doesn't like about Leslie Fish And Chip:
This was my first time ordering from this fish and chip shop. I got two bags of chips and they were a good size and tasted pretty good. The only thing I noticed was that they were frying up their fish and other items and leaving them out, ready for orders. I would prefer my fish to be made to order. View all feedback.
Always freshly cooked so if you have to wait more preferable to getting food that has been sitting under the heat for ages portions are more than generous and prices not stupid
Ordered about 6:50 on Sat. Asked how long for delivery, was told 45min to 1hr. After an hour phoned, no apology. Was told order was just leaving. Order eventually turned up at 9:10. Look warm. 2.1/4hrs after ordering. Won't be getting home delivery again.
Have never been disappointed with this fish and chip shop! Food always hot when we get it and they done hold back on how much they give you which is a bonus!
Have been patient with the place as we enjoy the hoggie wrap but 5 phone orders in a row and even explained when I picked it up what I was ordering and they still got it wrong.
This is my usual order and the two pieces of fish make it an ample meal for both my wife and me. Reasonably price and cooked fresh. Parking can be a bit of a problem but worth a bit of a walk.
