Nestled by the river, the Ferry Bridge Restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for a winter's retreat. Guests praise the warm service, lively bar, and delightful meals, including excellent fish and chips and a standout Sunday roast. However, the establishment is marked by its need for renovation, with some visitors noting outdated decor and cleanliness issues. Parking is available nearby, although noise from passing trains can be disruptive. Overall, while the experience can vary significantly based on expectations and pricing, many agree that it’s a charming spot worth revisiting for a hearty meal or drink.

Was Jay Sean at Ferrybridge a mag?
The food at this restaurant was tasty and the service was friendly and accommodating. I have to admit that my dining experiences in Scotland have been generally disappointing, as many travelers have mentioned that Scotland is known for having disappointing food. However, the fish and chips I ordered was good. The chips were a bit bland and too big, but the fish and sauce were great. The pricing was reasonable conside... View all feedback.

What Barbara Parkes dislikes about Ferrybridge:
Terrible dirty, wallpaper hanging off walls, fusty smell everywhere. No parking only on main road. Old type TV which didn't even work. Beds were damp. Arrived late so had to stay one night of 3 booked. Hardly slept a wink with poor wet mattress. Also by rail track so very noisy. Not at all as advertised. I was staying down the road from this hotel, so only visited the downstairs lounge on a few occasions. The food was very good, along with a proper pint. The locals very friendly, and made me feel very welcome. I liked it so much, I'll...probably stay at the hotel on my next visit, so I can get to the pub that much quicker!

A quick visit to North Queensferry saw us thirsty And chilly so we popped in to the Ferrybridge. A warm welcome and a nice real fire made us comfortable. My pint of Belhaven was fine and a pair of Jura warmed us up. We liked...the decor nice display cabinet of pottery and things. We didn’t eat but the dining area was nicely laid out. All in all, a lovely pub for a mid-afternoon pint. Recommended.

The pricing was reasonable considering the service, location, and dining decor. The WiFi was also useful. Overall, I have nothing negative to say except that the fries (or chips) would have been more enjoyable if they were from McDonald's. Chips can be prepared in many different ways, and I just didn't care for them at this restaurant. The texture was a bit powdery inside and the slices were quite large.
