great place to eat and exactly what they want from a bar menu unpretentious and exactly what we were looking for. great eating and well presented and very helpful staff who even took our photo when asked. husband loved the fact that the bill was handwritten. had not been before the hand in a breath, so was embarrassing, not in the position to leave a better tipp. will you go back View all feedback.

Terrible dirty, wallpaper hanging off walls, fusty smell everywhere. No parking only on main road. Old type TV which didn't even work. Beds were damp. Arrived late so had to stay one night of 3 booked. Hardly slept a wink with poor wet mattress. Also by rail track so very noisy. Not at all as advertised. Ought to be removed from Web sites View all feedback.

Great service, pleasant bar, no annoying, good eating. everything the owner wants, please it! how often do you have this today? great breakfast and free on street parking to boot.
Beautiful environment. very cozy and cozy atmosphere. had fish and tried steak cake absolutely excellent eating, staff very friendly and helpful. a visit worth for lunch/night. will be back in any case. many thanks!
Wonderful and welcoming, we enjoyed the most tasty food here on hogmanay. the personal was friendly and attentive and other patrons so friendly, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, intimate and warm. the food was freshly cooked to order so beautiful and hot and the...prices very competitive. the hotel has a fab location and is easy to reach. I'm so glad we decided here for our meal. will definitely return!
I was staying down the road from this hotel, so only visited the downstairs lounge on a few occasions. The food was very good, along with a proper pint. The locals very friendly, and made me feel very welcome. I liked it so much, I'll...probably stay at the hotel on my next visit, so I can get to the pub that much quicker!
