Dragon Horse - Fife

I visited this takeaway on Sunday night. The young man at the counter was friendly and answered my questions. I ordered salt and pepper prawns, salt and pepper chicken, salt and pepper chips, egg fried rice, noodles, and chicken skewers. I mentioned that I was new to the area and asked if this was the best Chinese takeaway. He assured me it was, but after trying the salt and pepper chicken, I found that all the food seemed to be reheated. The chicken skewers were dry and stringy, and the salt and pepper chicken was also dry. I was very disappointed with the food and ended up throwing it away. The prawns were the only decent part of my meal. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

I called a Chinese restaurant thinking it was the one I wanted, but I was treated very poorly when I tried to place a takeaway order. The woman was extremely rude and questioned why I was ordering from a different area with a different telephone code. She made inappropriate comments and I ended up hanging up on her. I will be taking my business elsewhere, as they do not deserve my patronage. It is unacceptable for her to speak to customers in such a disrespectful manner.

The fries and curry sauces were delicious. However, they did not have any Peking chicken on the menu.

The restaurant has surpassed the mythical dragon that had lost its charm since the new ownership.

I ordered the duck with black bean sauce and was very disappointed. The dish was mostly fat with only 3 small pieces of duck.
