The planned 'high spot of our holiday was a special lazy lunch (with a view)......Craig Millar didn 't disappoint! The choices are limited , but the imagination in creating what was served gave plenty of scope. Fantastic setting, looking out over the F O F, and a highly professional young team gave us a warm welcome View all feedback.

go for the great outsight and for acceptable good and pretty eating when they fail. but in the next village along the coast offers sangster of our opinion after much more worth, not to mention the best of them all, the peat inn, on which a new report is long overdue. View all feedback.
My husband and I visited this restaurant on a rainy day in November and we were extremely impressed by the ambiance, the delicious food, and the excellent service. Everything was outstanding. I opted for the soufflé, a popular choice among diners, and it lived up to its reputation. Our meal began with sea salt and rosemary focaccia served with chicken butter, which was not only tasty on its own but also paired perfectly with the cheese soufflé. The main course of cod was exceptional, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. For dessert, I enjoyed the pistachio cake, which was a delightful ending to a wonderful meal. This was my first visit to the restaurant, but it definitely won't be my last.
My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time recently for lunch. The food was amazing, especially the fish dishes. The salted bread with chicken butter was outstanding. The only thing I would improve is the initial slow service - we had to ask for menus. However, the overall service was lovely, friendly, and engaging. We are looking forward to going back again.

The food and wine at this restaurant are exceptional, truly outstanding. Each course is perfect and I cannot recommend it enough. I have been for dinner a couple of times and once for lunch, and each experience has been just as wonderful as the last. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit!
Nice welcome and good service on a wild day. Beautifully presented food. The trout starter was delicious but the duck confit was a little tasteless for my husband’s palate. Soufflé was delicious. Ox cheek and halibut mains were lovely. Puddings were light and tasty. Very pleasant lunch.
