It is located at the end of the road, which is only accessible by buses and also marks the beginning of large hiking trails. We could sit outside and enjoy a great view over the surrounding mountains. Fruitcake tasted great, but had its price: 2 cakes without cream and 2 large apple juices cost 27 Swiss francs no cheap experience. Is that a helpful review? Our beverage orders were taken immediately and fulfille... read more After 2 hours trekk through the mountains, we came across the Bargis restaurant, just in time for lunch. Our beverage orders were taken immediately and fulfilled, with sufficient menus for our group of trekkers. There was no waiting, wow. My Rostii with Spek, cashier and the sunny side on the egg hit the place. We had lunch in the open terrace and could even get a green tea. One must have a beer from Flims. Great place to visit either on foot or by public transport.

She was immediately rude and took our order, but did not serve our drinks. We had to go in and order... how a friendly young man works there. We also asked them if we had missed the last bus back to the mountain, and they said yes, but a local told us that this was not true that another bus would come into a little. When she broke our drinks, she accused us of going to the table with a knife and screaming at us, we had not touched the table. Her service got worse than she grabbed 20 francs from us when we paid for our two coffees. These were clearly not as expensive as we were asking for change, they did not confirm us and claimed we had paid a 10 franc note. When we pressed on the matter, as we were both sure that we had paid over and vouched the people on the table next to us, they saw that they took a 20-Franc note from us, called them and went away. We didn't want to take the money from her and cause more of a scene, we left ourselves sad by our experience with her. We love the place and hope for our return not to be served by it.

This time, I was welcomed in a very unfriendly manner even before I entered the restaurant: one of my hicking pole felt down which I did not...see at once as I took care of my 3 years daughter while also putting on clean clothes after the hike. The waitress addressed me in a very rude tone regarding this. I could have somehow understood it if I were alone and did this purpose. Needless to Say that I turned around without eating or drinking at the place. My friends that arrived a bit later told me that they were also treated in an unfriendly way: wrong drinks were brought to the table, hot chocolate was spilled all over and waitress kicked a rucksack because it was not stored properly. Do not go there if you expect to be treated in a friendly way.
