We were there for the first time at the weekend and immediately felt at home. Very good wine and a great snack : the service is very courteous and the atmosphere is inviting. We'd love to come back!
Great ambience in the best market square location. Unfortunately, at the premiere of the World Theater at the Kreuzgangspiele on August 12th, there was a scandal: There were only a few drinks to go . The restaurant itself was supposed to be closed, but this was not clearly communicated: some tables were accessible inside. These were temporarily occupied by guests. We sat down at a table with our drinks. After half an hour ! the innkeeper Mr. Hibbard? obviously came to our table. He reproached us for sitting down. After a short discussion he referred me to the restaurant. The extremely unfriendly host did not want to see that he had not sufficiently announced the blocking of the restaurant. At times, the bar 's toilets were also closed, although the landlord had sold drinks to numerous guests in front of the bar. One should use the toilets of the cloister games 100 meters away, said a sign. Gastronomy without a toilet: is that possible?
