What a nice surprise to find Frank in Ferrol after a lovely drive up las rías altas de a coruña. The Mexican tacos were delicious as was the pulpo and langostinos, everything was perfect and excellent value. Lunch with dessert for €42, exceptional! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great restaurant! The great reviews are absolutely right. We called and went for lunch the same day. My personal highlight was the fried shrimp and the Patatas, but I got the feel, that everything else would have been great as well. We also had the cheesecake to go definitely rely a must try Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30
All the dishes I have tried are delicious, I can't choose a favorite. The desserts, exquisite; The service is excellent and the place is very nice. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30
The dinner began after a long wait, when ordering wines, he did not have the most common options and hesitatingly offered us the reserve bottle of the Titanic that never sold and that had less rotation than Venus. We thought the waitress was practicing for the Olympics because she was throwing the plates at us like a javelin throw at the table. There was a moment when we thought we were in the Fourth Millennium, Risto's spirit took over the curly waitress with her borderio, and then we had a blind tasting experience because the power went out twice and that's when we thought Isabel Gemio would come out saying that it was a surprise surprise, but no, no one came out to explain to us what was happening and the rest of the diners took it with humor. Anyway, we just went to an Asian restaurant served by robots that had more empathy than at Frank's, it could be a solution for this place, of course the customers would be happier.
We had everything to be happy, Christmas, friends and gifts. We arrived hungry after the obstacle course that is San Francisco Street today, but that was the least of it. The grinch who lived there put our feet on the ground and took away our hope of Christmas dinner. Communication was not fluid from the beginning, ordering a wine has never been so complicated, thank goodness knives don't cut much because otherwise they wouldn't be enough to cut the tension in the atmosphere. The food is not bad, but the service was disastrous. The power went out twice and we don't know why, because no one came out to explain to us, although it was better not to see the face of the curly waitress who reluctantly threw the plates at us. Finally, the bill came in wrong, with things that never served us, which made us think that several Christmas elves were stealing things, although what they undoubtedly took away was their kindness and professionalism. We wish them the best but we will not return.
