we were celebrating the birthday in eight people, we got a good first and confirm the excellent craftsmanship, the pumpkin cake was good, the service a bit obsessive on the oo of the mask, in the whole everything normal, very popular place, remains a tavern and therefore you should not wait for the napkin and the refinements in the service. Good value for money , excellent service, very reliable. They should change the menu at least every 2/3 days.
We took advice from a local and came here. We booked at 10am for 1pm. The staff were delightful We had local food and it was delicious. I had an asparagus mousse for starter which was a special and it was unbelievable The pasta is delicious. Warning the pumpkin pasta is quite sweet. Had chocolate cake for pudding....we couldn't move. But hey, you only love once
Amazing food! Had the typical menu with ham, cappellacci di zucca, pasticcio ferrarese, assaggio di salami, cake and Montenegro… 28€! Cozy restaurant in the middle of downtown, full of both locals and tourists on a Tuesday night. great place!
Prices are reasonable, portions large enough, but some dishes were almost tasteless, others just ok. Waiters not very welcoming or interested. Overall an average experience.
Amazing place, the dishes are all authentic Ferrarese dishes and the portions are enough to fill you. The atmosphere is great and the service is also. I definitely recommend the Pasticcio alla Ferrarese, which is the speciality of Ferrara.
