I had my first experience at White Hard, and I really enjoyed it. It's a genuine old-fashioned pub with good beer and affordable, easy-to-eat food. Unlike many other pubs, it doesn't try too hard to impress. I will definitely return. I should also mention that the guy behind the bar was very friendly. View all feedback.

Good food, helpful staff and I came away with a good book from their library. Very few real pubs left, so it's always a pleasure, even with the slightly grumpy landlord.
A great locals pub with superb home cooked very reasonably priced Traditional English pub food served at lunchtime and evenings. Well kept Real Ale from Hall and Woodhouse.
