The best Indian food in East Dorset. My wife and I were unimpressed two years ago when we moved nearby. Over the next two years, we tried many different Indian restaurants, but they were all average. Then we heard that Fardown Tandoori had new ownership, so we decided to give it another chance. The food was excellent, almost incredible. It was well-cooked with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and we really enjoyed it. I hesitated to write a positive review, fearing it might just be a one-time good experience. But last night we ordered a second meal and had to wait for it to be cooked again. However, it was definitely worth the wait. If they can maintain this quality, we won't be going anywhere else. Well done.
I am really enjoying the ambiance at this restaurant. The offer is available on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, where you can get a decent meal for only £10. The portion sizes are generous, with enough leftovers for another meal. The lamb dish can be a bit fatty, but overall it is a great value for the price.
