Located on lively Woodward, quite a way north of the popular stripe around 9 miles. Very limited small lot and street parking. There is a medium terrace from the side street, a medium-sized back room with a large table, and a medium-sized bar room with some tables and the medium length bar. Possibly my favorite local bar in the United States. Period.
They don't make them like that in Ferndale. Up North Bar meets neighborhood honky Tonk with a beautiful old worn wood bar, drag tabs, cheap beer, craft beer, local spirits plus all the alcohol you expect. Melissa behind the bar can do 100 things at once, including cook a big burger and answer all the questions you have about beer and alcohol. It backs up when Fardale was really quirky, and back father when it was a working class neighborhood with No-Frills restaurants, bars and shops. More hips than any new hipster hangout. Please do not confuse this for the latest trend or count on locally generated greens that you cannot say on the menu. It's perfect as it is. Drink here and tap Melissa well.
A great place to stop in Ann have a Burger and Fritten and a cold beer I would recommend everyone to go here
