The menu spans classic dishes, including chicken parmesan and French onion soup, all served in a relaxed, retro setting. Friendly and attentive service complements the vibrant atmosphere, particularly on the outdoor terrace. With generous portions and great drink selections, Como's is a must-visit for both pizza aficionados and casual diners alike.
This restaurant has some of the best Detroit style pizza in the area. It's really close to the zoo and I love doing both the same day. The pizza has a very good sauce and I would recommend asking for extra, it is worth it. If you are in Ferndale, I would add this to your list of stops, great atmosphere and service. I saw a table dropping her pizza and the kitchen brought out a very fast to replace it. It's a prime place.
Came here for the first time and went back to explore more from their menu. Como has a variety of pizzas and also offers classic entrees such as Chicken Parmesan and Filet Mignon. I ordered the French onion soup and chicken parmesan. The antipasti salad was also ordered as well as a pizza. My chicken parmesan was accidentally sent to the kitchen as a sandwich and I had to wait a little longer for my duck. I wasn't mad at all because I know it happened and they were also on day 1 of their new menu items. The server and the FOH manager addressed it and they even reduced the meal. The French onion soup was tasty, but a bit on the salty/abnormal acid side. But it was still delicious. The chicken parmesan came with two chicken breasts and the pasta was full of taste. I would definitely like to come back when the weather is warming up and grab some drinks and food outside. If you have never been here before, definitely a good place to come and get some good food and drinks. You also have Traverse City Whisky Co in the house!
I always wanted to dive and see how this place was. As soon as I got there with my party, I immediately sat out on the deck, which was great. Had a bar outside and lots of rooms and very spacious. I was waiting right after sitting. Our waitress was great, very attentive and attentive. The food was prepared and brought out in time. I had made my own personal pizza with spinach, chicken and roasted garlic. The pizza was extremely good The music was also a nice touch. I will definitely be back!!!
This place is expensive. This is a big corner in downtown Ferndale. The terrace, in summer is the place to have great people watching location. I like the relaxed diner feeling, with retro decor. The hostess was friendly and the waiter was knowledgeable. I designed your own pizza with feta cheese and karmalized onions. It had great taste and the right consistency with the cheese. I ordered a big one, these are really just two little ones... but I guess they've done that way, so there are more corners to drive around with the Detroit-style pizza. There is the main entrance at the street, but also a rear entrance at the parking lot if you are lucky to get a place.
Oh my goodness! Como's was absolutely delicious! Their Detroit Style Pizza is so good, you'll be craving more. We tried two of their specialty pizzas and added some additional toppings. The outdoor atmosphere was lovely, and our server/bartender, Josh, was exceptional. The drinks were also fantastic. I would suggest skipping the appetizers, as the huge pizza portions will leave you with leftovers. Just two slices each left us feeling stuffed. If you find yourself in Ferndale, be sure to dine at Como's.
