Timoti's Seafood Shak
Description
Timoti’s Seafood Shak offers a vibrant outdoor dining experience that balances beach charm with culinary delights. While the atmosphere is inviting, the food quality varies. Diners appreciate the fresh, local seafood, particularly enjoying the blackened shrimp and fish dishes. However, some patrons report disappointment with certain menu items, like the lobster roll and fried options, citing issues with consistency and flavor. Despite mixed reviews regarding service, many agree that the fast and friendly staff enhance the overall experience. For casual seafood lovers looking for a taste of Old Florida, it remains a recommended spot on Amelia Island.

I got the fried fish basket. It was the thinnest filled of fish ever, the breading fell off as soon as I touched it and there was some skin left on it. The breading also needed more flavor. The fries were food as was the tartar sauce. The fried greentomatoes weren't bad but I wouldn't get them again. They put a tomato relish on them which made them soggy. I went on a Fridayafternoon on an overcast day and there wasn't any seating available, we had to wait for people to leave. The food wasn't theworst but I won't return.
On our first trip to Amelia Island, this was recommended by every local. We ate here the first night and it was DELICIOUS. The service was fast, the outdoor atmosphere was energetic and comfortable, and the blackened fish sandwich was gone in a second! Weate here several times over the trip and every dish was OUTSTANDING and fresh. Would recommend to every traveler.
Place is as good as all the reviews say it is, so go. The lobster was delicious, tacos out of sight and great drink selection. Wine in a can! These hush puppies y'all, could be best I've ever had. Line goes by quick and got the food quickly, kudos to thecrew!
The shrimp is top notch and the setup of tables under cover with a wooden shrimp boat play place for the kids is genius. The perfect place to grab a bite to eat and let the kiddos work off some energy before wandering the simple streets looking in everylittle shop you can find.
