We ate here for my wife's birthday as she was really in the mode for Japanese. The service was great. The waiter was very friendly and helpful with the menu. I don't really like Japanese food or Sushi, but Fancy wasn't bad. Japanese food has too subtle flavors for me. The free Holiday Roll (I think that is what it was), was tasty and so was the free soup. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki. The flavor was pretty muted, b... View all feedback.
What Alexie Bruen doesn't like about Fancy Sushi:
Staff was expedient, however we had to flag one down to get chopsticks. Waitress that took our order did not know the difference between sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. A different waitress also walked away from me in the middle of asking a question. The roll I received when I ordered nigiri was simply put: mush. Overall terrible experience, will not be eating here again. View all feedback.
Wow! The service and food were both excellent at this hidden gem of a restaurant. Everything we tried was delicious, and the complimentary holiday roll was a standout. Overall, an excellent experience!
Today we decided to have sushi for lunch. One of our friends lives nearby and recommended this restaurant. I must say, it was a great recommendation. The place is beautiful and cozy. I started with the gyoza and then had the volcano roll, both were delicious. I highly recommend visiting this place if you have the opportunity.
I love dining out, but unfortunately, the appetizers and Oreo dessert at this restaurant can be hit or miss. The Oreo dessert has missed the mark the last two times I've ordered it.
We love fancy sushi. we have a job to go, and even the presentation in the pull-out container was very visually appealing. we ordered the sushi sashimi combo, and it was amazing! we have eaten a lot of sushi and sashimi in our travels, and that was the best! the fish was extremely fresh and tasteful. the mushroom broth was appalling. the roll sort was fantastic. all that was included in this meal was the best! the cuts of fresh fish were very generous, and the price for all that was more than reasonable $40 and more than enough for two people. very recommended and we will be back. if they like sashimi and sushi, they will be more than satisfied. do not watch fancy sushi!
