Cucina South - Fernandina Beach

The next day, I saw the door open, so I went in to speak with the manager, who seemed completely clueless and "surprised" by our issue, despite it being six months in the making. They informed us that they had recently reopened, and our reservation date was their first night back. We had traveled 900 miles to be there for that night. Personally, I won’t be giving them another chance.

I recently visited the restaurant for their 25th anniversary celebration, and I had a frustrating experience finding the place. The food was just mediocre, and we were informed that they would be closing for renovations soon, which they definitely need!

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our dinner at Cucina South last night. I discovered it on Google, and if I lived nearby, I would definitely return frequently!

We love Cucina South! I always get the Cioppino there is just nothing else like it. Fresh seafood in a briny broth, simple and delicious. Service is always great.

Both our seafood dinners and wines were excellent! We ate on the front porch, the only outside, shaded area, and only two tables available there. Katie was knowledgable, helpful, likeable and attentive. It had been years since we last ate here, but we will go back.
